Taftlock 71 provides a permanent high-strength lock. All three operate from -55 to +150 C. Confirm selection against the current Technical Data Sheet. Rail bogie fasteners and other safety-critical fixings follow the vehicle builder’s specification.

Depot environments add the constraint that products used near workers must be low-odour and free of solvents that could build up in an enclosed space.

Taftlock 71 gives a permanent lock and suits fasteners and rivets that will not be disturbed in service. Anaerobic threadlockers cure between close-fitting metal surfaces in the absence of air; TaftGrip bonds to many substrates without a primer.
