With a viscosity of 2 to 5 cps and a specific gravity of 1.06, Ninja 108 wets out quickly and gives strong performance on plastic and rubber substrates bonded to themselves or to other common substrates.
Ninja 108 reaches fixture (handling strength) in 3 to 20 seconds depending on the substrate, and full cure takes about 24 hours. Cure speed varies by material, so closely fitted plastics and rubbers set fastest while acidic surfaces such as paper and leather take longer. Surface moisture initiates the cure, so low humidity and low temperatures slow it down.
Ninja 108 has a low viscosity of 2 to 5 cps, giving it a thin, fast-wicking consistency. This low viscosity lets Ninja 108 flow into tight, well-mated joints and fine cracks, which is why it cures quickly on closely fitted parts. For gaps or porous surfaces, an activator helps the adhesive set across the bond line.

Ninja 108 has a shelf life of 12 months when stored in a cool area away from direct sunlight. Refrigeration to about 5 C gives optimum storage stability. Blooming is a white haze that can form when cyanoacrylate vapor settles on a surface, and it shows up most on dark substrates. To reduce it with Ninja 108, apply the adhesive sparingly, keep the work area ventilated to clear vapor while it cures, and avoid over-application. An activator can speed the set so less vapor lingers around the bonded area.
